um actually, Vikings found america first, like, a long time before him.This is a very old myth that is surprisingly believed by millions of people. What we are told is that the Genoese Columbus’ peers doomed his trip to failure because they thought he would fall off the edge of the earth. Now – this was in the 1490s but man has known the earth was round since the idea was first put forth by Pythagorus 2,000 years before Spain even existed. Columbus did fail to reach his original destination, but in so doing he discovered the Americas. Not a bad end to a failed journey really. The round earth theory was so well established that the navigational methods at the time were all based on the fact that the earth was round.

YES YES YES THIS IS SO TRUE!!!! When I quit one time for seven months, once a week I’d have a dream about smoking, and it was so REAL feeling. The only one I remember is I was in the backseat of a car and my parents were driving, and mom offered me a Marb, which was actually a Black, and I kept thinking “oh no oh no Daniel [my fiance at the time, now ex] will find out” i finally had one and i felt so guilty, so horrible, I started crying and thinking Daniel was going to leave me and hate me and I hated myself and wow. I hated those dreams SO MUCH. but loved them at the same time, because at least i could smoke there.People who have smoked cigarettes for a long time who stop, have reported much more vivid dreams than they would normally experience. Additionally, according to the Journal of Abnormal Psychology: “Among 293 smokers abstinent for between 1 and 4 weeks, 33% reported having at least 1 dream about smoking. In most dreams, subjects caught themselves smoking and felt strong negative emotions, such as panic and guilt. Dreams about smoking were the result of tobacco withdrawal, as 97% of subjects did not have them while smoking, and their occurrence was significantly related to the duration of abstinence. They were rated as more vivid than the usual dreams and were as common as most major tobacco withdrawal symptoms.”
